Preparing Our Lives for the Presence of the Holy Spirit
1
Prepare the Altar
Prepare your life as a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit. Just as an altar was prepared for worship, cultivate a life of holiness, obedience, prayer, and love according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
John 14:15–17, Romans 12:1
2
Pray for the Fire
Ask the Heavenly Father in faith to fill you with the Holy Spirit. Jesus taught that the Father gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him. Pray with a sincere heart and remain open to the Spirit’s leading.
Luke 11:13, Ephesians 5:18
